How do I add my pet?

To add your pet, go to the first screen. There you will see a round button. Press this button to add your pet!

If you see your previously added pet, swipe to the right to get to the button.

How do I add a health care item?

When you select your pet’s image on the home screen, you will be led to the overview of your pet. In the tabs, you can select the home or vet health items page.

 

Here you can press the plus sign on the right, just below the image.

What will the different renewal statuses do?

A manual renewal means that once you have given your pet it’s medicine, vaccination, or other, you have to manually update this is the app by pressing the renewal button. You will get a reminder one week or one month before it expires (depending on your setting) and on the day of expiration. This manual mode is advised for vaccinations.

Automatic renewal means that there will be daily or weekly notifications, but you don’t need to manually renewal the item. This will be done for you, and the notifications will keep coming as long as this is active. This is handy when you need to remember to give your dog it’s daily medication.

None means that there will be no reminders and after the expiration date passes, it will be set to inactive. This could be used for example when you have a vaccine especially for traveling to another country but don’t need it renewed afterward.

Do I need to select the prevention item every time I renew it?

No, there is a button that fills out most for you. When you press the ‘renew’ button, the Add Vaccin page will be shown and filled out with the precaution set and the start date of today. You will only need to make sure the expiration date is set correctly.

You can select this renew button by swiping the health item to the right, or selecting the health item first and click the renew button on this page.

Where can I set the general notification time?

When you press the menu button on the initial screen (the three dots), you will be taken to the menu. Here you select the first option, app settings. This is the place you can set the standard notification time, as well as when the manual renewal notifications will be sent and the weight unit.

How can I add my pets weight?

When you select your pet on the initial page you are taken to the pet profile. Here you can see the most recent weight added. To add weight, you press on the weight tab in the bottom tabbar.

Here you can press the plus button to add a weight.

If you prefer lbs over kg, be sure to update this in the settings menu first

Where can I set the weight unit I prefer?

When you press the menu button on the initial screen (the three dots), you will be taken to the menu. Here you select the first option, app settings. This is the place you can set the standard notification time, as well as when the manual renewal notifications will be sent and the weight unit.

I accidentely entered my pet's weight wrongly. How do I delete it?

You can delete the weight by swiping the weight item to the right. Here you press the delete button.

Can I use this app instead of my pet's passport?

No, this app does not replace the official passport of your pet. For travels or when you go to your vet, you will need to bring your official pet passport. The app is to remind you when you need to take action on keeping your pet healthy, so you don’t have to call your vet to check the expiration date. The app is in no way is an official registration for your pet.

Does Happy Healthy Pet set the correct expiration date after selecting the start date?

No, you have to check and select the expiration date yourself. Vaccines have different validity in different countries or states. Different collars remain active for different periods of time. If you add the health precaution item for the first time the app will automatically add one year if the start date is set. If you use renewal and previously the start date and the expiration date were set, It will take the same duration this time. `either way, it’s always up to you to check and set the correct expiration date.

No, Happy Healthy Pet is to record all the health related preventions that are active and expired. No health advice is given. If health advice is needed to treat your pet the best way you can, please contact your vet.
